Jaime's knowledge is captivating, and everyone who participates in one of his trips is gladly taken by the affection he feels for the south of Chile. Bearing the sensitivity of an artist, he makes us experience his admiration for the unexplored landscapes of this place; for a moment, it feels as though we are accompanied by one of those explorers of yore who, armed with passion and tenacity, made their way through adversity in order to show the unknown to the rest of the world. While sitting next to him by the warmth of a chimney at night, we will be transported in time thanks to the magic of his stories.

This Chilean wanderer arrived to Switzerland 30 years ago. He got his vast knowledge of different languages (German, French, Italian, & English) in the trips he has taken all over the world. The experiences he has also got during these trips, increased the fascination he felt, since he was a child, for remote places and cultures. He always travels with his camera. Hugo, with his 25 years of experience in Photography, is not only a Photo & Video specialist, but he also works as a very successful photographer in Switzerland. 

This “Know-how” guy, with his kind & friendly personality, is an invaluable guide for our trips and expeditions not only in Chile, Bolivia and Argentina but also in the Himalaya and the rest of the world.

He was born and raised in Coyhaique, the capital city of the Region of Aysén in Patagonia. Since he was a child, he has travelled the roads of the region, enchanting himself with its landscapes, its culture and the perspective of knowing pristine and remote places. This is what motivated him to study at the Patagonia School of Guides, training and working in mountains & glaciers. Interested in knowing more about the ancient people that inhabited the territory, he also worked as an assistant in archaeology research for a few years.

After several expeditions to the Ice Fields, and after improving with various courses and trips to different latitudes of the Andes Range, he became a member of the National Association of Guides. 

He is always willing to listen, share & learn new things, with the motivation of travelling to other places to enrich his own experience and find new horizons

Carlos is like one of those old sea dogs but he does not have any boat (a 4 wheel drive perhaps), and his ocean are the high tops of the Andes. In those vast oceans of volcanic rock, his safe footsteps, invite us to travel around feeling that we are in the hands of experience. The days, full of experiences will be rewarded with a meal cooked up by him and enjoyed with him and, as with a good sailor, there will not be a lack of tasty stories, a lot of laugher & camaraderie. Those ties will last, and we will always remember our adventures with this friend.

If you ever find Jean-Marie in an outdoor place and you approach him, you will inevitably take him for an ultra-marathon runner training for his next competition, due to his energy and athletic figure. It is a great pleasure to travel in his company thanks to his cheerful temperament, always available to carefully attend to the needs of his clients. This makes him the ideal companion for any adventure. His French-Chilean line of ancestry, as well as the fact that he has lived in different parts of the world in his youth, have shaped his character & mentality. This makes him extremely versatile. He not only motivates us with his great knowledge & professional skills, but above all with his charming personality.
